01 / ON STAGE
Emcee & Event Host
Your event has a purpose. I help the room stay connected to it, welcoming guests, introducing speakers, guiding transitions, and keeping the program moving with warmth and attention to time.
Communicator • Host • Facilitator • Storyteller
I help you connect with your audience, in the room and online. Through thoughtful conversations, connected events, and stories that show the people behind your work.
Based in Greenville, South Carolina.

Ways to work together
You may need one service or a combination. We can shape the support around your audience, purpose, and priorities.
01 / ON STAGE
Your event has a purpose. I help the room stay connected to it, welcoming guests, introducing speakers, guiding transitions, and keeping the program moving with warmth and attention to time.
02 / IN THE ROOM
Thoughtful questions, balanced participation, and room for people to contribute. I guide workshops, panels, and planning sessions with respect for the expertise already in the room.
03 / BEHIND THE STORY
Help people understand the purpose and people behind your work. Support can include interviews, short videos, captions, content planning, publishing, and event coverage.
04 / BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE
Bring order to the moving pieces. I support agendas, run of show, speaker preparation, coordination, timing, and transitions so the experience feels connected from beginning to end.

Meet April
Listen closely. Ask thoughtful questions. Help the pieces make sense.
I'm April C. Evans, a communicator based in Greenville, South Carolina. I work with organizations, businesses, and community leaders to help people understand the purpose, connect with the message, and know what comes next.
Sometimes that means holding the microphone. Sometimes it means asking the question that moves a conversation forward. Other times, it means working behind the scenes to bring order to the moving pieces.
And yes, I'm a self-proclaimed foodie. Good conversation over good food is always welcome.
